Curation Thesis
A private island is the only asset class where the boundary of the property is the coastline itself. The value is not the land but the perimeter — the natural moat that makes the asset self-contained, self-governed, and self-defended. We will underwrite islands on sovereignty metrics: fresh water independence, energy independence, airstrip or helipad access, and the legal framework of the territorial waters. The greatest islands are not the largest but the most self-sufficient.

The Advisor
Caspian Moreau
The Island & Marina Specialist
Caspian has surveyed private islands across the Caribbean, the Maldives and the South Pacific. He reads an island for what it can sustain on its own — water, power, food, access — because an island that depends on the mainland is not sovereign; it is a peninsula with a boat.
