Historic European Castles & Châteaux
Heritage assets with maintenance schedules measured in centuries.
Curation Thesis
A historic castle or château is a heritage asset whose value is inseparable from its maintenance obligation. These buildings were constructed for dynasties, not for quarterly returns, and their upkeep is a perpetual cost that must be underwritten as a liability, not an afterthought. We will model the heritage restriction regime, the capital reserve requirement, and the ratio of usable to monumental space — because a castle that cannot be modernised is a museum, not a residence.

The Advisor
Margaux Devereux
The Vineyard & Heritage Director
Margaux has advised on heritage estate acquisitions across France, Scotland and the Loire Valley. She reads a château for its maintenance liability — the roof, the stone, the heritage restrictions — because the purchase price is the down payment, and the upkeep is the mortgage.
