A marine sanctuary is a conservation asset whose value is the ecosystem it protects — the coral, the mangrove, the fishery. We will underwrite on the legal protection regime, the ecosystem health metrics, and the revenue potential from conservation finance instruments. The greatest sanctuaries are those where conservation and value are aligned, not opposed — because an ecosystem that is protected is an ecosystem that appreciates.
